Announcement of the Bestowal of the Knight of Legion d'Honneur of France of our Founder

Dear Customers & Friends, we are honored to announce our Founder & President, Mrs. Wendy SIU was bestowed upon with the highest national knighthood order - Knight of the Legion d'Honneur of the Republic of France by Consul General of France, Hong Kong & Macau, Ms. Christile Drulhe on 10 January 2023 at the residence of the Consul General of France. The honour was announced on 26 July 2022 in Paris while the ceremony took place this January.  Legion d'Honneur was established by Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte in 1802 to honour individuals who have made their highest military & civilian contribution to the country of France.


Mrs SIU has dedicated 25 years or more from her 38 years of business life in promoting French know how in a well rounded spectrum, from business, culture and lifestyle know how while fostering mutual exchange between France & Hong Kong and mainland China. 

 

Mrs SIU received her other civilian national medal and promotion in 2012 as Officer of the National of Merit from the Knight of the National Order of Merit received in 2005. This this order was established by General Charles de Gaulle in 1965 to promote individuals of major civilian contribution to the Republic of France.

 

She stated at her bestowal ceremony with her consistent belief that Merit should not be given but to be earned with deeds & humility.
